The Alex Haley Museum & Interpretive Center has been designated as a Literary Landmark by United for Libraries, a division of the American Library Association, and will join the ranks of more than 130 Literary Landmarks across the United States honoring esteemed authors such as Charles Dickens, Frederick Douglass, Ernest Hemingway, Zora Neale Hurston, and William Faulkner.
This will mark the second Literary Landmark in the State of Tennessee.
