2014 Employee Awards

The University of Memphis' Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law Ranked #1 in the Nation

PreLaw Magazine ranked the University of Memphis' Cecil C. U of M Law School Building Ranked Among World's Most Impressive

The University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law Building ranked #24 out of 50 Law Schools across the globe.  Bestchoiceschools.com recently published a list of The 50 Most Impressive Law School Building in the World , ranking the University of Memphis Law School at #24. Alex Haley's 93rd Birthday Celebration, Featuring a Literary Landmark Dedication Ceremony

Memphis Architect Louis R. Pounders Awarded AIA Tennessee Lifetime Achievement Award

The American Institute of Architects (AIA) Tennessee awarded Memphis architect Louis R. Pounders, FAIA, of ANF Architects the AIA Tennessee William Strickland Lifetime Achievement Award at the AIA TN Convention in Nashville on July 31st. Dawning of a new Day at Reelfoot Lake: A new Interpretive Visitors Center designed by Lee Askew

By Brown Burnett Reelfoot Lake State Park is “hopping” and they have numbers to prove it.  “In 2012 we had 758 programs that 28,464 people attended,” said Alisha Weber, the park’s manager. “In 2013 we had 1,252 programs with more than 70,000 attending, and now we’re already ahead of last year’s pace.” The number of pontoon cruises has doubled since last year, she continues, as has camping.
