Our Staff : Liz Engel, IIDA, TN Registered Interior Designer

Liz Engel, IIDA and Tennessee Registered Interior Designer, served as interior designer for the FedEx Main Screening Security Facility. She has a BFA from the Ringling College of Art and Design and has been with ANF Interiors since 2000. Liz has worked on a wide variety of successful projects for FedEx, Viking Range Corporation, International Paper, Airport Wireless stores, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, and a variety of hospitality, health care and education projects. She has designed multiple spaces for the Memphis College of Art, including Student Cafe & Lounge, Faculty Offices, Graduate Studios, and Metz Hall student residences.
 
Who was the biggest influence in your career?
It started with my grandmother, Toby. She was an Interior Designer in my home town, and I visited her firm a lot as a child.
 
What talent do you wish you had?
To play the piano really well.
 
What attracted you to ANF?
The people, the size of the firm and the variety of projects we get to work on.
 
What can't you live without?
My husband, our daughter, our animals, ice cream cake, and sushi.
 
What do you do for a good time when you are not working?
Watch movies, read books, play games, bake, sew, and enjoy the water. Whenever I can, I love to travel.
