Our Staff : Joseph P. Wieronski, AIA, LEED AP, Partner

Joe joined ANF in 1984 and has since worked on projects ranging from corporate headquarters, medical facilities, to churches. Those projects include 775 Ridgelake Boulevard, Midtown Medical and Christ the King Catholic Church. Joe is a USGBC LEED Accredited Professional. In addition tosustainability issues, Joe has been instrumental in implementing BIM (Building Information Modeling_ technology into the firm. ANF's use of BIM has improved design on many levels as well as reducing change order on many projects. In 1988 Joe started the Architect's Party, a fundraiser for many local charities. Joe has also served on the boards of the Memphis USGBC chapter and AIA Memphis, and assumed the office of AIA Memphis President in 2009.
 
Who was the biggest influence in your career?
I had many influences in my career. Ralph Hassa and Ralph Jones- former employers- and many teachers at the University of Arkansas, along with Fay Jones, were big influences.
 
What talent do you wish you had?
The talent to listen better and really hear what people have to say.
 
What attracted you to ANF?
Lee Askew and the culture he started.
 
What can't you live without?
Family and friends. Also, the occasional college football game.
 
What do you do for a good time when you are not working?
Read, walk, ride my bike, travel from time to time, try to paint and take photographs, but mostly enjoy the company of family and friends. Sometimes, just a quiet evening is very nice.
