Project Staff : Fresenius Medical Care Dialysis Center

Joseph P. Wieronski, AIA, LEED AP BD+C, Partner

Joe joined ANF in 1984 and has since worked on projects ranging from corporate headquarters to medical facilities to churches. His clients include Healthcare Realty, Baptist Hospital Memphis, the Regional Medical Center at Memphis (the MED), 775 Ridgelake Boulevard, Midtown Medical and Christ the King Catholic Church, and recent projects include work in Afghanistan for the US Army Corps of Engineers, which involved the design of headquarters, power plants, classrooms, barracks, administration buildings and medical facilities. Joe has worked extensively in the private sector, designing large-scale corporate headquarters, data centers, medical offices, and airport-related facilities. Joe is a USGBC LEED Accredited Professional. In addition to sustainability issues, Joe has been instrumental in implementing BIM (Building Information Modeling) technology into the firm. ANF's use of BIM and REVIT has improved design on many levels as well as reducing change orders on many projects. In 1988 Joe hosted the first Architect's Party, a fundraiser for local charities, which continues annually today. Joe has also served on the boards of the Memphis USGBC chapter and AIA Memphis, and served as President of AIA Memphis in 2009. He also serves on the University of Arkansas School of Architecture Professional Advisory Board.
