Memphis College of Art: Gibson Hall

The Memphis College of Art (MCA) faced growing enrollment. The MCA Graduate Program was relocated to an ANF-designed adaptive reuse building in the South Main Arts District of Downtown Memphis to free up space in the existing Overton Park campus for administration and faculty. MEMPHIS CATHOLIC MIDDLE & HIGH SCHOOL RENOVATIONS

ANF was asked to renovate Catholic Memphis’ dated facility within a limited budget. To brighten up the facility we took advantage of natural light and added splashes of bright color. Immaculate Conception Master Plan

IMMACULATE CONCEPTION The Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, in the heart of Midtown Memphis, asked ANF to design a Cathedral Center that would compliment the bungalow architecture of the surrounding neighborhoods, as well as that of their existing campus. The new Cathedral Center for the youth and young adults of the school and parish will house prekindergarten, kindergarten, youth group and church meeting spaces along with the school library. IC CLASSROOM OF THE FUTURE

This 4th grade classroom is the first to be renovated as an example of Immaculate Conception’s "Classroom of the Future" campaign to upgrade the entire 1920’s school building. The ceilings were raised and the existing pine floor & wood trim were restored to their original beauty. Fogelman Gallery of Contemporary Art

This new Fine Art Gallery was created out of offices and a library in the former U of M Law School. Divided by an essential corridor, two galleries were created which allow for two separate art exhibits to be held at the same time or the glass entry doors can be opened to allow for one large exhibit. The continuous wood floor unites the spaces and gives this gallery a feeling of warmth and welcoming. Ceiling-Mounted, Ductless VAV HVAC systems are used to condition the spaces. Read More

Christian Brothers University, De La Salle Gymnasium

The De La Salle Gymnasium provides an upgrade to an existing athletic facility space on the campus of Christian Brothers University in Memphis, TN. In addition to resurfacing and upgrading seating in the main event space, ANF Architects also designed a new casual student cafe and seating area, refitted and redesigned the interiors of the building, and renovated the exterior facade of the original gymnasium. Christian Brothers University, Cooper-Wilson Science Center

The Sciences Complex is composed of Cooper-Wilson Center and Assisi Hall. WOLF RIVER HARBOR BOARDWALK AND OUTDOOR CLASSROOM

Viking Training Center

VIKING RANGE, LLC. This corporate training center in Greenwood, MS provides training and exposure for new lines of Viking products to dealers and distributors. The large demonstration kitchen and presentation theater enable groups to watch the products being used while the prep kitchen allows them to try them out for themselves. Wonders Cultural Series - Czars Exhibition

One of a series of exhibitions put on by Wonders: Memphis International Cultural Series, this exhibition highlighted the rise and fall of the Romanov Empire. Displaying over 200 artifacts from the Kremlin Museum in 80 cases, this exhibit chronicles the life of the Russian Czars from the eighteenth century through 1913. ANF designed replicas of the Kremlin wall, the interiors of Eastern Orthodox churches, and parade grounds in the Kremlin. Read More
