ANF Architects, consulting and on-call architects for the Memphis-Shelby County Airport Authority (MSCAA), is providing architectural and engineering design services to repurpose existing warehouses and convert them to be used as a temporary Airfield Maintenance Operations Facility while the new facility is designed and constructed. This project has been designed on a fast- track due to a very expedited schedule. Building permits totaling 1.4 million were filed in January of 2017 and the new facility is expected to be operational this summer.
This project involves the renovation of 4 existing warehouses near Runway Road that will house vehicle maintenance operations until the airport's new building is operational. The project also involves a new above-ground fueling station.
