ANF Architects has completed multiple projects for The Pink Palace.
The museum underwent major renovations based on the master plan designed by ANF Architects. Future project include a new museum entrance and new exhibit areas. Completed projects include renovations to Autozone Dome, Sharpe Planetarium Renovation now equipped with full dome projection completed in (January of 2016), and the CTI Imax theater conversion to 3D Digital with a new screen, projection area, and snack bar (completed in March of 2014), and a major renovation and modernization & elevator addition to the original Mansion.
During the mansion renovation, the museum remained open with only the mansion portion of the Memphis Pink Palace Family of Museums closing from January 2017 through December 2018 for a $4,050,000 renovation that allows greater use of the mansion's second floor and increased accessibility with the addition of a new elevator. The Pink Palace discovered much about the museum's history, influential citizens and the City of Memphis in general during the renovation and design process. The Pink Palace staff have created a blog to share these interesting facts. It is worth the read.
