CHAMPIONS COURT I STUDENT HOUSING at The University of Kentucky

EDR

ANF Architects provided interior design and a full FF&E package for Champions Court.

Champions Court (the HUB of the resident living property at the University of Kentucky) is a place for students to gather, collaborate, and connect. Bold and colorful designs create a feeling of movement throughout the building. A focus on key details elevates the quality of the space.

The ground floor houses a student development and mixed-use area. As you enter the residential spaces on floors two through eight, you are guided by colorful wayfinding marking each floor. Accents in the soffits of the ceiling compliment the bold carpet pattern which leads you from one space to the next. Custom murals are incorporated in the main lobby and in active learning spaces. Many of the lobbies have student designed graphic artwork printed on custom murals.

State of the art technology, incorporated in all of the active learning spaces and common multipurpose rooms, aids students in collaboration. A common kitchen on the fourth floor is highly used and loved by the students. Three collaborative study rooms on each floor provide students with multiple study options ranging from group study to quiet study as well as lounge space. A wonderfully large Terrace on the eighth floor overlooks the campus and provides lounge seating for students looking for a place to relax and enjoy being outdoors.
