Immaculate Conception

Located in the heart of Midtown Memphis, the new Cathedral Center at Immaculate Conception provides a new home for their Early Childhood Center, Art Classrooms, Admin offices, and meeting rooms, as well as a state-of-the-art Library & Technology center.

The new building connects to all floors of the existing 3-story, 1922 Neo-classical elementary school, providing much needed elevator access and bathrooms. The exterior design, clad in the campus’ signature yellow brick with pre-cast detailing, complements the existing campus architecture, as well as the bungalow architecture of the surrounding neighborhoods. “I marveled that the completed Cathedral Center was far more beautiful than I ever imagined it would be. ANF, as architects, developed a creative and colorful group of early childhood classrooms, and an imaginative library/media center for our high school and elementary school.
