MSCAA Airfield Maintenance Facility

MEMPHIS-SHELBY COUNTY AIRPORT AUTHORITY
ANF Architects, consulting and on-call architects for the Memphis-Shelby County Airport Authority (MSCAA), provided architectural and engineering design services to convert four existing warehouses near Runway Road to be used as the Airfield Maintenance Operations Facility. This project was designed on a fast-track due to a very expedited schedule. Building permits totaling $1.4 million were filed in January of 2017 and the new facility was operational in the summer of 2017.
The project includes: a new above-ground fueling station, vehicle exhaust, lifting equipment, pneumatic connections, access ramp/aprons, utilities, site work, paint shop, offices, indoor storage, snow removal equipment, restrooms, vehicle repair areas, ADA compliance, and seismic upgrades.
