Palm, Inc. Stores

The design concept for all Palm stores centered around the client’s goal to gain a retail presence and to educate consumers on the latest technology. The client also wanted the stores to establish a powerful image as a reflection upon the corporation. In each store, the design concept focuses on implementing defining characteristics including open entries, funnel pods, oversized graphics, and display walls. The concept evolved from minimalist white on white palette to a warmer palette of materials and color. The simple, clean line approach reflected the intended function of the client’s product – to un-clutter and simplify its user’s life. ANF designed 25 of these highly successful airport retail outlets. Ranging in size from 500 to 1,400 square feet, completed stores are open in the Philadelphia, Atlanta, Boston, New York, Washington, D.C., Dallas, Miami, San Francisco and other major airports.
