Sam's Town Casino and Gambling Hall

The second phase of construction begun shortly after Sam's Town opened. It included the addition of 400 hotel rooms and a landscaped pool and recreation area, all completed within eight months.

This development is in an entertainment and gaming destination housing seven casinos surrounded by the river delta of northern Mississippi. ANF finalized the Phase I design of Sam's Town Casino in four months and facilitated construction during five winter months to complete the floating casino, 200 hotel rooms, entertainment arena and multiple restaurants, bars and retail. The development combines water and land-based facilities supported by 140 foot deep foundations adjacent to the Mississippi River. ANF worked with Sam's Town throughout the four subsequent stages of development. The second phase saw a landscaped pool area and 400 more hotel rooms. 450 more hotel rooms were added in a 9-story hotel in Phase III along with a 1,000-car parking garage. In response to the continuously changing casino market in Tunica, in Phase IV ANF completely upgraded the main entry atrium and adjacent dining facilities -- an upscale steakhouse, large barbeque restaurant, and full service 600 person buffet with interior waterfall and fire feature. Polished and flamed granite replaced wood floors, and gaming and lounge areas received new wall, floor, and ceiling finishes and layouts. In addition, a 150-vehicle RV park was added. After Sam's Town bought an adjacent property, ANF helped them to consolidate the two and allow patrons to move freely between them with improved parking and lighting.
