ANF worked with the Village at Germantown, a senior living community, to expand their campus from 2015 to 2017.
Starting in 2015, ANF designed the expansion to the Village’s formal dining room to meet the needs of their expanding population and to give the space a refreshing, updated feel.
Shortly thereafter, work began on a new 60,000 SF, three-story independent living apartment building, which contains a mix of one-, two-, and three-bedroom units, as well as a new office for the Village’s marketing department. This building connects two existing apartment wings, creating an expansive internal courtyard and providing residents with a continuous enclosed walkway to dining and recreation functions. Also included in the construction were 39 new on-grade covered parking spaces.
Following completion of the independent living apartments, ANF began work on several additions and alterations to the Village’s public spaces. The existing clinic, auditorium, bar, and café were significantly expanded and redesigned, and a new maintenance shop, multi-purpose room, and two-story fitness wing were added. These alterations helped to meet the needs of the Village by providing the additional space and new activities that their growing population dictated.
