ADS Crosstown Location

ANF Architects is working with Alzheimer’s and Dimentia Services (ADS) to design a new 15,000 SF adult day care facility, to be located in Midtown/Crosstown, that will serve 50 senior clients (“friends”) who suffer from Alzheimer’s. The design, with its cooking station, art room, wandering paths, gardens and other specialized rooms allows for ADS to provide stimulating daytime therapeutic & social programming for adults with dementia in a safe environment.

“ANF came to the first meeting with many hours of research completed about how the environment needs to relate to those who have dementia, most who are also older, frail and often physically impaired. They used a very holistic approach to these special needs and addressed all of their senses when discussing how the environment can be designed to emphasize abilities, not disabilities.” - Ruthann Shelton, Executive Director, Alzheimer’s & Dementia Services of Memphis
